i know that everyone’s already done this but like i don’t really care. and to make sure everyone is on the same page, these are not opinions, these are facts.

10. Sleekwhisker: one of two good female villains. her and mapleshade will wreck shit and i love that duo so much. and she belongs in the dark forest because she’s tried to kill several people and she might’ve killed someone. i think that she killed dawnpelt for darktail, and if you kill people who are trying escape from your dictatorship, you evil.

9. Ashfur: he belongs in the dark forest because he’s killed someone. he killed firestar. he told hawkfrost where the fox trap was, which then resulted in firestar losing a life. plus he tried to kill three other people because a girl wouldn’t fucking date him. evil.

8. Raggedstar: raggedstar was abusive to yellowfang. that alone should land him into the dark forest but i’ll say more. he constantly emotionally abused her, blaming her for everything. terrible right? and then when brokenkit was born, he ignored his son! that counts as child neglect. also he named someone foxheart which is a swear in their world.

7. Breezepelt: oof i have many feelings regarding this boi. he is evil. undoubtedly. it is impossible for him to not be evil yet he won’t go to the dark forest because apperntly he’s more deserving of a redemption arc than hollyleaf is of her life! so to start, he tried to kill his blind, medicine cat, half-brother and then i suspect he would’ve killed the pregnant lady that was with his half-brother so there would be no witnesses. WHAT THE FUCK. he also tried to kill his other half-brother and nearly succeeded. so that’s two for attempted murder, not great. but then. he FIGHTS ON THE SIDE OF HELL AND GLOATS OVER HIS HALF-SISTER BEING MURDERED. HOW CAN HE POSSIBLY BE DESERVING OF A REDEMPTION ARC? HE’S A FUCKING ASSHOLE AND I WILL KILL HIM IF I HAVE TO.

6. Rainflower: abusive mother. do i need to say more?

5. Onestar: onestar has done so much bad shit that i can’t list it all, so here’s the highlights. he refused to help his clan because he’s a petty bitch. ended his friendship with firestar because he’s a dumbass. redeemed breezepelt. refused to help shadowclan even though they were all sick and dying. left smoke even though she was pregnant instead of bringing her with him or staying with her so they could raise their kits together. said that bramblestar inherited his father’s bad blood. just, do i have to say more?

4. Oakstar: so oakstar was thunderclan’s leader when mapleshade was alive. oakstar’s son was murdered by appledusk and mapleshade, having a half-clan relationship with appledusk, said that birchface (oakstar’s son) was the father of her kits. that’s really fucked up. he had every right to kick mapleshade out but why throw out the kits too? it goes against the warrior code. mapleshade had nowhere else to go. oakstar knew she’d be going to riverclan and to get there you need to cross a river, not even mentioning the fact that it was flood season. he knew that those kits had a great chance of dying yet he did nothing. he is directly responsible for the kits’ death yet he gets to go to starclan. fuck him.

3. Darkstar: darkstar is one of the most evil cats in this fucking series and yet she’s in starclan for whatever fucking reason. after mapleshade’s kits die she exiles her knowing she has nowhere she can go. mapleshade can’t become a kittypet because kittypets, at the time, fought back against clan cats. oakstar had been raiding the twoleg place because of reasons(?) and the kittypets were now fighting back. so if mapleshade were to go to the twoleg place she wouldn’t be safe. the kittypets might attack her or her former clanmates would. she had to become a rogue, which is less than ideal. darkstar doesn’t even bury patchkit, petalkit, and larchkit in proper graves. the kits are dug shallow graves away from the riverclan burial grounds because she doesn’t want them. it’s just so fucked up. i hate her.

2. Frecklewish: she let kids die. she could’ve saved three fucking kids but nope! they might be kids but they’re half-clan kids so who gives a shit right! she is 100% responsible for their deaths.

1. Appledusk: cheated on his wife while she was pregnant, didn’t give a shit that his kids died while their corpses were right in front of him (yes. really), called his ex-wife worthless to her face after she watched their kids die, has killed someone in cold blood (birchface) and called the cat who died trying to save birchface stupid (flowerpaw). he is responsible for two deaths and gives no shits about his dead kits. also he wasn’t even punished for the half-clan relationship even though mapleshade went through hell and back.

alright so this should just be a shorter post but i need to talk about this now. i’ll have a full post after i finish the book on tigerheartstar because he’s an asshole and kinda reminds me of clear sky

what’s with tigerstar? now like i already said i’ll do a full post purely for him because he’s actually that bad but like in chapter 10 his son shadowkit is having a seizure. so like any parent he gets the medicine cat, and because his medicine cat, puddleshine, is out of commision because he’s dying; alderheart comes instead. alderheart orders cloverfoot to get some thyme because it apparently lessens shock. cool, makes sense. but tigerstar is like “wait. are you sure this is safe?”

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? HIS SON IS HAVING A SEIZURE BUT HE STOPS THE DOCTOR FROM HELPING!!!!!!!!!!!! This is such a clear sky move i can’t get over it. what the fuck is wrong with you to not just trust a doctor that YOU took as a hostage in the first place. poor alderheart who’s a hostage is looking after his best friend in a foreign territory, is being constantly threatened and then when trying to heal, he isn’t even allowed to. if you won’t let him heal why is he there? why take him as a hostage if you won’t let him do the thing he was forced to do? like he was forced to become a medicine cat but like now he isn’t even able to heal because you’re just being a dick?

i really don’t have anything else to say. just what a tremendous asshole.

where to begin with this one? well i’ll add more as i progress into the book but i’m on chapter 6 and so much shit that has already happened that i’ll have all my thoughts split into different rants but for this piece i’m focusing on tawnypelt not being deputy and why. have fun

so to start with. WHY THE FUCK DID TAWNYPELT STEP DOWN?? NO REASON IS GIVEN. IS IT BECAUSE SHE IS OLD? BECAUSE TIGERSTAR IS JUST THAT MUCH OF A CUNT? WHO KNOWS?? This happens in chapter 6. so why is she listed as deputy at all? and she’s replaced with fucking juniperclaw?? some nobody piece of shit who left his clan to join an evil cultist who has a higher kill count than the og TIGERSTAR? AT THE FIRST CHANCE HE GOT???? but no yeah okay i understand. tawnypelt, whose entire plot the last book was wondering if she should be the new leader of shadowclan or not, becomes deputy but then steps down to let juniperclaw be deputy. instead. of her. because. he’s so. MUCH. more deserving of it than. HER. how. how was this allowed to happen. with no explanation either. at least give me a throwaway line about how she’s “too old” or something. because that is fair. realistically she is quite old even if in the books she’s treated as if she’s the average age of a warrior. though she is the average age of a warrior, i’m sure. i just can’t believe this. seriously . what the fuck. i’ve wanted her to be deputy for fucking ages. it’s in my top ten of things i’ve wanted from warriors since she left thunderclan in the first series. this fucking sexism in warriors is so fucking infuriating everytime something like this happens. chances of tawnystar ever happening is 0% whereas before, it could’ve happened. i’m not sure the percentage of it happening but it could’ve. and that was what was important. there could’ve been three female leaders, all of which are fan favorites. mistystar, leafstar, and tawnystar would’ve been powerhouses and with shadowclan in between skyclan and riverclan, the three could’ve made an alliance that would shake the ground and topple forests. they would’ve been invincible but of course we need another male deputy to become yet another male leader.

in the broken code, one of the leaders is going to die. and unless it’s bramblestar (which i very highly doubt will be the one to die) we’re getting another male leader. the best candidates for who’s dying is mistystar and leafstar. tigerstar and harestar have a VERY low chance of dying as they both just became leader. tigerstar is absolutely not dying as he just got his own super edition (se) and became leader in said se and the raging storm is the first book he’s been leader. so he is out. next is harestar. also just became leader in avos so it won’t be him who dies but he has a more likely chance than tigerstar because his deputy, crowfeather, has his own se which means he’s destined for leadership. bramblestar is iffy. it could be him because squirrelflight is getting a se in 2019, but it’s coming out in september, whereas lost stars, the first book in the broken code, comes out in april. they could release her se after she becomes leader or bramblestar just isn’t dying yet. so that just leaves, mistystar and leafstar. coincidence that the most likely to die in the next arc are the only female leaders? i don’t think so. but that’s not the point. the point is that after this, there will only be a single female leader left and honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if the erins killed off both female leaders because they’re fucking insane and they think that’s great drama. so let’s examine mistystar first. mistystar is the oldest living cat in the series and possibly of the entire series. but her deputy, reedwhisker, hasn’t had a super edition nor has one been announced. riverclan is by far the least explored clan in the series. this might be able to save her, as well as on lost stars/the broken code, it says “a beloved clan leader”. which mistystar, isn’t. she’s the last leader a 12 year old will care about. she hasn’t been in the spotlight ever. the closest she came was when she closed her borders in this arc. she’s not beloved. maybe by some fans (like me) but overall? i’m not sure. but she definitely could be the one who dies because of her age alone. last but not least is leafstar. she is definitely at risk of death. she is beloved by violetshine and the rest of her warriors. she is respected by at least bramblestar and the rest of thunderclan. and most damning of all. her deputy has a super edition and will most definitely be leader one day. our only question now is if that day is sooner than we thought. leafstar has a few saves because she and her clan was just reintroduced to the series. so they may not kill her off so soon because of that. so in order of who i think is dying is.

tigerstar>harestar>bramblestar>mistystar>leafstar

i think mistystar might die offscreen like how blackstar died. one line and that’s it, but who knows. it could be her.

see this wouldn’t be so infuriating if tawnypelt was deputy. because there are no female deputies other than squirrelflight and bramblestar has a low chance of dying next arc. he’ll be alive for (probably) a long time from now. the leader that is dying is more than likely going to be one of the two female leaders. and i know that i’ve said that several times already but it is madness to think that two of the best leaders are being pitted against each other because one of them might die. if tawnypelt was leader or deputy at least that’d mean that there is hope for the future that there will be more strong female characters. there aren’t even a majority of female medicine cats. which historically have been female dominant! everything in warriors is male dominant: leaders, deputies, currently medicine cats, villains, heroes, protagonists, antagonists, you name it there have been more males than females.

i was really rooting for tawnypelt. but she became a victim to sexist writers. just like almost every other female in the series. hopefully they kill off bramblestar so squirrelflight can become leader. as much as i like bramblestar, his wife is better. also juniperclaw is tawnypelt’s grandson because he is the son of dawnpelt who is tawnypelt’s daughter, which also makes him tigerheartstar’s nephew because tigerheartstar is also tawnypelt’s son. if only rowanclaw had never become leader. all of this would’ve been avoided.

edit: (11/9) i have since finished the book and learned of juniperclaw’s demotion and death. i’m very happy that cloverfoot became deputy but i don’t trust the writers at all so i doubt she’ll be leader after him. very rarely does a deputy of similar age to the leader become leader but with how cats are just casually living to 16 it is possible. also how the fuck is this tigerstar’s third deputy. seriously dude get it together. if the writers become unsexist then we will get a cloverstar but i doubt they will so dont get your hopes up.
